Victory

VICTORY

Ye that have faith to look with fearless eyes

Beyond the tragedy of a world at strife,

And know that out of death and night shall rise

The dawn of ampler life:

Rejoice, whatever anguish rend the heart,

That God has given you the priceless dower

To live in these great times and have your part

In Freedom's crowning hour,

That ye may tell your sons who see the light

High in the heavens - their heritage to take -

"I saw the powers of darkness take their flight;

I saw the morning break."

3 Months Old!

I never get tired of looking at my little Buddha Baby. This picture was actually taken when he was about 10 weeks old. Ben was being silly and was balancing Matthew. I HAD to get out the camera. I mean it, I HAD to do it. The Mom-force made me do it. I was clicking away and got some good pictures, but this one is my favorite.

At Matthew's 3 month check up yesterday he weighed in at 20 lbs 3 oz.

Every Mom is a... Super Mom!

I know I'm not supposed to steal, but I loved this. Thanks Jamilyn for posting it. I thought a few other Mom's would appreciate it.

There are a lot of things that I'm thankful for. Here's some of my favorite thankfuls.

Teegan Jaxon Sabin

A wonderful thing about being an aunt is getting the pictures before others. My brother sent me a few pictures of my new nephew.  I am very happy that Jenny didn't have to wait til May to have this baby, and that he wasn't big like Matthew. We're all excited to have him join our family. I bet when he and Matthew are older they will love playing together. Congratulations Beautiful!

A good night sleep!

Last night I was wasting time online, mainly on facebook. I thought Ben was coming back down after he used the bathroom. I soon realized that he must have gone to bed. So I shut everything down and went to bed. It was around 11pm and if you know me, I'm a night owl. Love to stay up late and really really disliked getting up in the morning. I got up this morning around 6am. I only got up once during the night to feed Matthew and once to put Emily back to bed.

Matthew, Emily and I came downstairs to let Daddy sleep in a little. He's going take his upgrading test today or tomorrow. Once he has taken his test then he gets some dnd books. I bribed him just to get him get it done and over with.

Laffy Taffy and Grow a New Sister.

Yesterday, we went to Sweet Ideas to pick some more old fashion candy. We enjoyed walking around the store. When I picked up a "grow a new sister" item the plastic came off of the cardboard so the owner gave it to Emily. We paid for our chosen items and left.

We then drove to Walmart to pick up a few groceries. When I was helping Emily out of the van I realized she had some Laffy Taffy in her hand. I was rather disappointed to find out that she had stolen two pieces of candy. I took the candy and the "grow a new sister" from her. We told her that she had to give the stuff back and apologize.

Ben and I talked and later realized that something was up. After we left the store James kept bothering us for his candy and Emily didn't ask at all for hers. During our talk we had decided that Emily had to give the sister back as part of her punishment.

She did a good job of apologizing to the store owner and I made her give back the "sister" which was the only reason why she was upset.

We ended up giving James his candy because he didn't steal anything. It's not like Ben & I got something and the kids didn't. Matthew was the only one who didn't get anything, but if you talk to my kids then Matthew got "Almond Joy Milk".
