Those cute kid sayings

You know how kids are always trying to stay up past their bedtimes. Right? Well, we try to get our kids to use the bathroom before they go to bed. Because our bathroom is on the top floor we have the kids tell us if they had to poop, and stay on the toilet until we come. 

So last night James came down and told us that he had to go poop. After awhile I sent Ben upstairs to check on why we could hear James walking around. When Ben got back downstairs, he told me what was said upstairs. Ben said "I thought you had to go poop" and James' reply was "My body lied to me!". 

I laughed at his reply. I would have never thought of "my body lied to me!" Only a kid would think of something like that.
