Why is it always Mom's stuff?

I've been wondering this for a long time. Why do kids always get into the Mom's stuff? It doesn't matter what it is. It's ALWAYS my stuff.

Most of the time it's my scrapbooking stuff that they ruin and I have to throw away. Items that should last a long time, like a foam brayer. Why do they have to bite, tear it and make it only good to be thrown in the trash. I can't even order that foam brayer any more. It's discontinued.

There's a lot of other things which they have ruined of mine. Is there a written law out there which only kids can see that says "thou shalt destroy Mom's stuff". It doesn't matter if I have my stuff put away in the proper place or not.

This morning I came downstairs and found that they got into my purse and ate 1/2 a package of gum. The gum only had 3 pieces missing. My purse was in it's usual spot. They've known about the gum in my purse for about 2-3 weeks.

I just want to scream and run away at this moment. I'm so tired of them getting into my stuff and destroying it. I'm so close to crying. Thanks to frustration and pregnancy.

Does anyone know of that law? Where is written in stone? I want to destroy it myself. Maybe I'll feel better then.

I ask myself this question EVERY DAY!
Bailee gets into my stuff ALL the time...however, she never touches Erics stuff.

It drives me so batty!!!
