This is for Rachel and anyone else who is interested. This is a list of our favorite canadian treats. I know that some of these are found else where in the world, but not in the states. When we travel to the states we always bring a lot of goodies down to the states with us.
Our trip to Corinne's in August must have been a real torment for her because we brought a lot of goodies. She was strong and stuck to her diet. Good Job!
This Cadbury chocolate coated bar is a peanut butter-caramel experience. It is a delicious blend of these tastes along with Cadbury chocolate and crisped rice.
"This aptly named big bar contains crisped rice, peanuts, and is covered with the famous Cadbury chocolate.Old Dutch over a variety of products. For those who love Ketchup... you can get some Ketchup chips, flavouring for popcorn or put it on anything you want. The actually ketchup tastes sweeter up here.
Milk Chocolate egg with a white chocolate inner layer with a toy in a capsule inside. Great for all ages. At Christmas time you can purchase an Kinder Ornament, Easter is a bigger Kinder Egg.
*For the readers who read my last blog and didn't know what Kinder eggs are. This is them.
"This bar has a jelly center and is covered with milk chocolate. It is described as a Turkish delight, or Loukoum.
MACK Toffee is a unique treat – it starts out hard and becomes creamy soft as you chew. After looking online to find pictures of some of our favorite canadian treats. I found the following website.

AWESOME Kathy!!! That is so great!!! I think I would go nuts over the Wunderbar! The turkish delight stuff reminds me of Narnia. :) I LOVE Kinder Surprise!!! We had those all the time in Russia and Ukraine (they're German) and our kids we taught loved them! ANNNDD, I totally fell in love with air bubble chocolate over in Russia TOOO!! It's SO good!!! American chocolate is definitely waxy, but seriously nothing can beat a Symphony bar or Junior Mints...YUM!!!
We like living here in Canada because there's something from almost every where.
I agree with you about the Symphony bar, but I can't get it up here. I should maybe do a blog about my favorite treats that I can't get up here. Ben loves the Junior Mints. I can't have very much mint during this pregnancy. It should be back to normal in 2 weeks.
MMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! I love all the ones that you have brought me!!! I got a Big Turk yesterday from my VT, she is canadian and must have just had a visit north! I loved it!!! MMM! I want some popcorn twists!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Aaron LOVES the big turks, likes the aero bars. I will take American chocolate and licorice over Canada candy anyday. I have not been able to fall in love with any, but I sure hear from a LOT of people how much better Canadian candy is. Aaron says "remember the candy is always sweeter on the other side of the fence".
