For those who do not know the month of November was terrible for us. No income for a month really screwed up everything. We got behind on bills, especially our car payment. So this month we returned the car because we couldn't make the payments.
So this past week Ben was getting a ride to work with a co-worker. The co-worker had surgery last Wednesday so he had Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off. Ben couldn't get a ride so he called his boss and told him. Miscommunication happened yesterday so no ride to work. He called his boss and told him again.
This afternoon I was at the store with the co-worker's wife. I was told that the boss would have preferred if Ben told him that he couldn't come to work because of "being sick" instead of "no ride".
So as of today Ben doesn't have a job. He called the boss today and told him that he quits because he couldn't get to work. The boss told the co-worker (yesterday) that Ben doesn't work their anymore. Also about the being sick over the truth.
The job was 15-20 minutes out of city limits on a good day. So no buses go there. It's out in the middle of no where.
So my question for you is what would you have done? Called in sick or with no ride?

Kathy!!! Oh my gosh, and then you're going to have a baby in like, 3 minutes?! And no job? And no car!? Your mom is still there, right??? The Lord will bless you. He will. I know it. You told the truth. Say you called in sick...ridiculous! What a psycho boss!!!
That sucks!!!! I am so sorry about that guys, that is a stressful thing for anyone, but even more stressful for someone about to pop out a baby. Good luck, we are praying for you guys.
WOW! That is just pissy! Firing for NOT lying about it! I am SO flipping sorry that happened!!! Something is bound to come open, you're there because the Lord took you there! HUGS!!!!!!
