Out of a child's mouth.

It's amazing what comes out of a child's mouth.

When I'm pregnant I can't stand having my belly cover, it gets irritated and really hot.

Earlier today we were joking that my belly was a kinder egg and Matthew was the toy. It came up because the kids said that they're going to have playing with him. We were having fun time being silly. The idea was forgotten during the day. Then after dinner while we were waiting for Emily to come down for prayer I was sitting on the couch with my belly exposed. James said something along the lines that "Matthew's kinder egg is starting to crack". We all had a good laugh at his comment. I never thought of my scarred stretched belly in that way. It's amazing what comes out of little kids mouths.
For those who do not know what Kinder Eggs are, kinder eggs are a chocolate egg with a toy inside.

Here's another funny thing out of a kids mouth. This was said by my nephew Dominic about 10 years ago. It was a couple of months after I got my license. I was 16 years old and Dominic was 6 years old. I was driving my brother Steven to Spork (for those who don't know Utah slang it's Spanish Fork, Utah) when I got in my first car accident. No one was hurt in the accident. My sister followed the Utah protrol down to the accident, my mum and Dominic got a ride there from a neighbor. I was so upset that I was crying like a baby. Everyone left, my mum drove Steven, Dominic and myself to Spork. Before we could even get off the shoulder Dominic pats my leg and says "It's ok Aunt Kathy. There'll be more!" No one knew what to say and I didn't know if I should cry some more or laugh. I was silenced. I just sat there stunned by what he said. All of us knew that there would be more, he was wise for his years.

Dominic started driving this past fall, and no I haven't repeated his words of advice. Hopefully I won't need to. I miss ALL of my nephews and nieces.

Once I moved out of Utah my niece Rietta started doing some new things. When she was asked "who taught you?" She would either say "Aunt Nae or myself". I thought it was really funny that she started blaming me for teaching her that after I moved out of Utah. I thought it was her way of getting back at me. She went from spending a lot of time with me to spending very little time. She was also the same one who called Grandma Sabin "my lost Grandma" because Grandma moved to Canada.

I tag everyone who has ever heard something amazing out of a child's mouth. You only have to share one tidbit, but you can share as many as you wish. Tag your it!
